1. Overview of the Experience

Brief Introduction:

At Meraki Tuft Studio, we offer a creative and fun team-building workshop that allows employees to connect through art while developing stronger communication and collaboration skills. Our tufting workshops bring teams together to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind rugs, which they get to take home as a lasting reminder of their experience. No prior crafting experience is needed—just bring your creativity and team spirit!

How It Works:

Before the workshop, teams will select a theme for their rug design. Options include:

  • Brand Logos: Custom rugs reflecting your company’s logo or brand colors.

  • Holiday Themes: Seasonal motifs to celebrate the current holiday.

  • Individual or Custom Designs: Participants can also choose individual rug designs from a selection of pre-made templates, or bring their own designs.

We’ll have frames ready for employees to start tufting, and each participant will receive clear instructions and a practice session before the actual tufting begins. Our instructors will guide everyone step-by-step, ensuring everyone feels confident and excited.

During the workshop, employees will start tufting and be assisted by our instructors at every stage. Once the tufting is done, they’ll learn how to trim their new rug. Afterward, our instructors will apply the final touches: gluing the rug and adding the backing. The finished rugs will be ready to take home by the end of the session.

2. Workshop Details

Duration Options:

  • Small Frames (18” x 18”): 2-3 hours

  • Medium Frames (27” x 27”): 3-4 hours

  • Large Frames (35” x 35”): 4-5 hours

We can customize the length of the workshop based on your needs, whether it’s a half-day, full-day, or a custom-length session.

Group Size:

We can accommodate a variety of group sizes. For larger companies, we recommend splitting the group by department or mixing employees from different departments. This approach enhances cross-department communication, encourages collaboration, and promotes a diverse, inclusive company culture.

Themes & Customization:
